The Thousand Oaks Library system is comprised of one main facility in Thousand Oaks (the Grant R. Brimhall Library) which was opened in 1982, and a branch library in the Newbury Park section of Thousand Oaks, which was opened in 1991. The Library collection includes over 350,000 items, with staff to provide assistance to patron needs.
